Apple’s AirTag assisted a woman in locating her wayward dog in the US state of Florida. According to media reports.

According to AppleInsider, the owner, Denise, noticed the dog’s disappearance one hour after the dog went away.

“I went to take out the trash, and I assume he just escaped when I took out the trash,” the owner was cited in the report as saying.

She suddenly realised she’d put an AirTag GPS tracker on the dog’s collar.

The dog was eventually located in an animal shelter 20 minutes away from the property.

In June of this year, the tracking device assisted a guy in Canada in locating and recovering his stolen Range Rover.

The SUV’s owner affixed three AirTag trackers, which assisted him in locating the car, which was eventually recovered by police.

After having his first Range Rover stolen, he acquired an identical model to replace it.

The first unit was never located because the thief threw the owner’s wallet and family members’ phones out of the Rover before driving away, ostensibly to avoid being tracked.
