A massive skeletal hand was discovered on a Brazilian beach, and the couple who discovered it believes it belongs to an alien.

On November 20, Leticia Gomes Santiago and her partner Devanir Souza were stunned when they discovered the bizarre skeletal hand on the dunes of Ilha Comprida, So Paulo State, Brazil.

“We think it is not human because of the size and amount of bones. What could it possibly be? ”  quoted Leticia as stating.

The duo then captured footage of the strange hand with lengthy boney fingers. It was significantly larger than a human hand.

Leticia stated: “It’s very big. We don’t know what animal it is, and if it’s an alien, even worse.”

One individual speculated that it could be a ‘Mermaid hand.’ “Might as well be a Dinosaur bone!” Yet another suggested, “Take it to a biologist, because this isn’t normal.”

According to marine biologist Eric Comin, the odd ‘hand’ belonged to a cetacean, which includes whales, dolphins, and porpoises.

Comin stated that more tests would be required to establish which one.

The cetacean most likely died at sea some 18 months ago, according to the researcher.

Comin speculated that the bones belonged to a dolphin based on their size.

Dolphins are frequently seen in the area.

The bones most likely belong to a cetacean, according to Henrique Chupill, a spokeswoman for the region’s environmental agency, the Cananéia Research Institute (IPEC). He continued, “We always prioritise leaving the bones on the beach so it does not interfere with the cycling of nutrients within the ecosystem. Eventually, when there is some scientific interest, we collect them to be used in studies. If they are recently-deceased animals, we collect them to perform necropsies and identify the cause of death.”
