In addition to being the largest cat species, tigers are renowned for their superb and amazing hunting skills. It should come as no surprise that the tiger comes to mind first when discussing the top hunters in the animal kingdom. The tiger is a strong animal with excellent hunting abilities. Deer, wild boar, sambar, chital, swamp deer, hog deer, and sikar deer are some of its primary prey.
In the video we’re sharing with you, a tiger can be seen taking a nap in the open. Two sambar deer arrive out of nowhere on the opposite side and begin to move in its direction. They become aware of the tiger’s presence as they get closer. They pause for a second before taking off.

One could argue that the two deer were fortunate to see the tiger because one of them would have lost the fight.
Tigers have reportedly been observed eating newborn elephants after they have been killed, according to reports. Gaurs, the largest living bovine with a body length of 8 feet 2 inches to 10 feet 10 inches and a weight range of 1000–1500 kg, have also been documented as prey for tigers. Imagine a tiger being able to hunt down and consume such enormous animals.
