Joe Biden pledged not to campaign “on the false promises of being able to end this pandemic by flipping a switch” in his virtual speech from Delaware.

He called Trump’s pandemic response an “insult” to victims.
His live broadcast speech telecasted after a briefing he received from health experts. Currently there are an average of 71,000 new Covid-19 cases in the U.S. every day. Death tolls and hospital admissions are rising rapidly.
Biden has held fewer in-person events owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Whereas Trump held a series of rallies in the battleground states across the country.
