Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has won the most votes in US history until now.

According to international media reports, Joe Biden has broken the record of former US President Barack Obama by getting 70 million votes so far. Barack Obama got more than 69 million popular votes in the 2008 election.

Despite receiving a large number of popular votes, Biden needs 270 electoral votes to win.

On the other hand, the preliminary results of the ongoing presidential election in the United States have begun to come. According to foreign media, the Democratic candidate Joe Biden has got 238 and the Republican candidate US President Trump has got 213 electoral votes so far.

According to US media, Republican candidate Trump is leading in 19 states and Democratic candidate Biden is leading in 16 states, while the results of 16 states are yet to come.

Biden has called on his supporters and admirers to be patient, saying the final election results will be announced in two to three days and the victory will be ours but work patiently now.
