In a recent interview with the media, Jin revealed some facts regarding the Super Tuna song and how it came to be. Jin and his producer BUMZU went fishing and came up with the idea for a hilarious song about the sport.
Jin told in the interview, “I did actually want to make a fishing song, but it was really an excuse to go fishing with BUMZU. We went after I suggested to the label that the two of us fishing would make for good content.”
He added, “I wanted ARMY to listen to the song and have fun laughing as they watched me, and in the end I’m just happy they liked it. I had fun just watching them enjoy the song and knowing they liked it. That was enough for me.”
The song has received over 57 million views and a slew of comments. On Instagram, users even established a Super Tuna challenge, which has amassed thousands of dance reels.
