Second-largest private employer in the US, Amazon, informed its staff that it will cover up to $4,000 in travel costs annually for non-life-threatening medical procedures, including elective abortions.

Apple Inc. has stated that its current health plan includes abortion care and travel expenses if the treatment is not accessible in the employee’s home state.

Microsoft: The company will now offer employees in the US travel expense reimbursement as part of its existing abortion and gender-affirming care options.

Meta Platforms Inc.: The business announced in a statement that it plans to provide reimbursement for workers’ out-of-state medical and reproductive services-related travel costs, “to the extent permissible by law.” The business stated, “Given the legal complexity involved, we are evaluating how best to do so.”

Walt Disney Co.: According to Disney, the company’s benefits will pay for employees’ travel expenses if they need to get care elsewhere, including an abortion.

Netflix: Netflix announced it would provide travel reimbursement through its health plans for US employees and dependents travelling for cancer treatment, transplants, abortions, and treatments that promotes gender identity.

Starbucks Corp.: Starbucks announced that it will pay for US employees’ and their dependents’ travel expenses for abortions that require them to travel more than 100 miles from home.

American Express Co.: American Express stated that if an employee or dependent needs an abortion or gender-affirming treatment that is not offered where they live, travel and any relevant costs will be covered.
