In a video that has gone viral on social media, a man was bitten by a shark after releasing it into the ocean.

The 11-second clip shared on Reddit shows the man, together with a wife and two children, attempting to revive the little shark after releasing it into the sea.

After a few prods, the fish awakens and instantly begins spinning around and biting the man’s palm.

The shark clings to his fingers for some time, despite his attempts to take them out. Finally, the man takes out his hand, revealing the shark’s blood-filled maw.

The other passengers of the boat, notably the youngsters, are observed to be horrified, but the man is seen going away calmly while sucking the damaged area. The internet has been stunned by his response.
