A video of a deer using his massive antlers to cleverly open a barrier fence has gone viral. Saturday,  Twitter user posted the brief film to Twitter.

At the start of the footage, a white-tailed deer is shown sliding its right antler outside the barrier, then doing the same with its left antler. Once the deer had freed its head, it pressed its entire body on the earth and slid under the barrier.

Internet users were stunned by the deer’s deft manoeuvring. “Smart move,” commented some, while “animal intellect is an instinct,” wrote another.

One user put it this way: “Animals are incredibly good at brain-muscle coordination and have outstanding muscle memory for precisely calculated manoeuvring.” Another user remarked, “Just wonderful show of extraordinary intellect in animal species…imagine how immensely blessed the world would be with such level of increasing manoeuvrability for mutual accommodation.”
