With a hunter that size, the deer stood no chance. Let’s discuss some fascinating Komodo dragon facts. The largest lizard species still living, the komodo dragon can reach a maximum length of 3 meters (10 feet). They can be as heavy as 135 kg.

They rule the ecosystems in which they inhabit and are apex predators. The collective hunting behaviour of komodo dragons is unique among reptiles. They occasionally even assault people.
