Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater, both leading stars in the highly anticipated film adaptation of Wicked, have recently made headlines due to their personal lives.

Grande, who plays Glinda, and Slater, cast as Boq, began dating in July 2023, just after Grande’s split from her husband, Dalton Gomez. Slater also filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Lilly Jay, in the same month. The couple’s relationship became public shortly after both had separated from their previous partners.

Slater, known for his Tony-nominated role as SpongeBob SquarePants in the Broadway musical, joined Wicked in December 2022, almost a year after Grande was announced as part of the cast. The film, directed by Jon M. Chu, started filming in the U.K., where it is believed Grande and Slater first met.
