Noah Beck is ready to explore life beyond social media. The TikTok sensation recently spoke to a private magazine about transitioning from content creation to acting and his aspirations to further his career in Hollywood. He made his film debut in Tubi’s “Sidelined: The QB and Me”.

Before gaining fame on TikTok in 2020, Beck had another passion.

“Professional soccer was plan A and there was really no plan B… Growing up, I didn’t really know anything other than that in terms of what I wanted to do,” he admitted.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Beck left the University of Portland, where he played D1 football. Soon after, he went viral on TikTok, launching a lucrative social media career.

Despite amassing over 33 million followers on the platform, he began searching for a new challenge.

Despite knowing “nothing about it” and starting from “ground zero,” Beck discovered acting. Before landing the role of top football player Drayton Lahey in “Quarterback: A QB and Me”, which debuted on Tubi on November 29, he made a guest appearance on Disney’s “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.”.

In anticipation of presumably more performing roles in the future, regarding his career on social media, Beck stated, “I think there will be a time where I won’t become as reliant on it and I won’t feel like I need to stay relevant, if you will, to keep the views coming… the paychecks coming in. I hope that acting can take some of that weight off.”

While Beck likes that “you’re your own kind of boss” when it comes to making a living from full-time content creation, he said, “At times, [it] can be a bit exhausting.”

“With acting, you check in and then you check out,” he explained. “It’s a job… and I like the idea of having the structure.”

However, Beck’s ideal future would be to have the “best of both worlds,” adding, “I would love to continue to work as an actor and have fun with social media on the flip side.”
