A new spell of cold weather has entered in Karachi from the west.

Northwesterly winds are also blowing in the city.

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast cold and dry weather in Karachi due to new spell.

According to PMD’s website, the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi today was 13.5 Degree Celsius. The minimum temperature can drop to 9 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

In addition to this, the maximum temperature can range from 24 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius in Karachi till the next two days.

Humidity recorded in the morning ranged from 65-75% today and can decrease to over 20% in the evening.

Apart from that, PMD predicts cold weather in most parts of the country.

PMD also forecast rain and snowfall in north-eastern Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

Rainfall had occurred yesterday in several parts including Punjab, upper areas of Sindh, northern Balochistan, Ormara, Lasbella, Kalam, and D.I. Khan.

The minimum temperature recorded in different areas (in Degrees Celsius) are Skardu (-17), Para Chinar & Kalam (-11), Astore (-10), Hunza (-6), Malam Jabba (-5), and Gilgit (-4).

The maximum rain recorded in different areas (in mm) are Lasbella (6), Zhob Kalat (4), Barkhan Ormara (3), Khuzdar (2), Jhang (6), Lahore (5), Sargodha (3), Bhakkar, Okara, Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad, Hafizabad (1), Kalam (4), D.I.Khan (2), Jacobabad (4), Dadu (2), and Larkana (1).
