Widespread rain with snowfall over the hilly areas is expected in different parts of the country including Baluchistan, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and south/central Punjab while at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next twelve hours.
Moderate to heavy snowfall is also expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Neelam valley, Bagh and Haveli districts during Monday to Tuesday.

Murree, Galliayat may also receive moderate to heavy snowfall during the period. Foggy conditions are likely to subside during the wet spell.
Concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures during the forecast period.
The Pakistan meteorology department (PMD) has forecast light rain with snowfall over the hills in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Mahnsera and Kohistan districts.
This rain will be the result of a shallow westerly wave presently persisting in northern parts.
However, cold and dry weather with fog is likely to prevail in few plain areas of Central and South Punjab and Upper Sindh during morning and night hours.
Temperature recorded on Saturday morning of some main cities are, Islamabad and Muzaffarabad three degree centigrade, Lahore six, Karachi twelve, Peshawar four, Quetta two, Gilgit one and Murree minus two degree centigrade.
