Galiyat Snow Festival 2020 in Nathiagali ends today

Galiyat Festival 2020 at Nathiagali and other places at Galiyat is finally coming to an end.

The three-day event started on 31st January and will come to an end today 2nd Feb 2020.

A great number of tourists have gathered at the place to attend the festival.

Galiyat snow Festival was organized by Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Galiyat Development Authority.

Several exciting activities were held in the festival, including snow-tubing, skiing, hiking, trekking, bonfire, tug-of-war, snow football, campaign, vlog competition, snow cartoons, jeep rally, food stalls and so on.

Women were also seen enjoying the festival; participating in snow-tubing competitions and clicking selfies with the snow boy.

Tourists say that the event would reflect an amazing image of Galiyat.

One of the tourists said, “It is an opportunity for all to participate in this major adventure event of the year,”

Apart from that, music performances were also arranged in the Galiyat festival 2020. Celebrities such as Umai Jaswal, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ali Azmat and others stole the event.

Organizers say that appropriate arrangements were made to make it successful.

Today weather update:

Weather is likely to be cold and dry across the country. In addition to this, the weather will remain extreme cold in northern areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and in Kashmir.

Pakistan Meteorological Department also predicts fog in a few areas of Punjab.

Furthermore, PMD also forecast cold and dry weather in Karachi with Northeasterly winds.

The minimum temperature recorded today morning in Karachi was 12.5 Degrees Celsius and can range from 12-14 Degrees Celsius till the next two days.
