Karachi is likely to receive another heatwave from tomorrow; from 17th to 22nd May.

Met department predicts that Karachi can receive a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius because of heatwave if the sea breezes stop during the day.

PMD Director Sardar Sarfaraz said that hot winds blowing from the desert areas in the northwest can cause an increase in temperature. However, the weather may remain cooler in the evening and at night.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday (today). However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
