PMD predicts heat wave like conditions in plain areas from Monday to Wednesday

Heat Wave like conditions are expected to develop in plain areas in coming days۔

Met office has informed in a press release that mainly dry weather with heat wave like conditions is likely to prevail in the country during the next 3-4 days.

Most plain areas of the country will remain in the grip of the very hot and dry weather from Monday to Wednesday.

Under the impact of this: temperature is expected to rise nearly 04-06 °C above normal in plain areas while 03-05°C above normal in sub mountainous/mountainous areas of the country.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in central and southern parts on Monday (today). However, rain-thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
