PMD predicts mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of Pakistan

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during day time on Saturday (today).

However, rain- wind-thunderstorm is expected in Punjab including Potohar region, northeastern Balochistan, Islamabad and Kashmir during evening/night hours. Meanwhile, dust-thunderstorm with rain at few places is also expected in districts of Sindh.

According to the met department of Pakistan, moist currents from Arabian sea are reaching central and northeastern parts of the country.

Karachi receives a hot weather today as temperature recorded was 37 degrees Celsius. Humidity recorded was 72 percent. The maximum temperature in Karachi can remain from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

Rain wind-thunderstorm occurred in districts of Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, upper Sindh, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir in the last 24 hours. Hot and dry weather prevailed in other parts of the country.ِ

Severe Cyclonic Storm “NISARGA” in Eastcentral Arabian Sea

Severe Cyclonic Storm (SCS) “NISARGA” moved further North-eastward with speed of 20kmph during last 06 hours and made landfall near South Gujarat-Maharashtra coast, India.

Fishermen of Sindh were advised to remain careful and not to venture in deep sea till 4 June due to rough sea conditions. This is the last bulletin in this regard.
