Heavy rain lashes Lahore with strong winds, other parts of country

Heavy rain with strong winds hit parts of Lahore and other cities on Sunday morning and turned the weather pleasant.

According to the details, dozens of LESCO feeders tripped due to heavy rain and strong wind on the second day of the Eid-Al-Azha. The residents face continuous power outage in several areas.

According to meteorological department, rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in Hazara, Malakand, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Zhob, Musa Khel, Kashmir and Islamabad.

Light rain is also expected along Sindh-Makran Coast from Sunday (August 2). Hot and humid weather expected in other parts of the country.
