Karachi has begun receiving heavy showers of rain from Friday afternoon.

Several areas are facing unannounced loadshedding soon after rainfall hit the metropolis.

In addition to this, rainfall has also occurred in other areas of Sindh including Sukkur.

Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Old city area, Civic center, Malir, Saddar, Nazimabad, and nearby areas are receiving heavy showers of rain.

At least one person had died due to electrocution at Gulistan-e-Johar whereas several others were wounded as poles, billboards, and trees fell due to gusty winds.
