Light rain turns weather pleasant in twin cities

Light rain brought mercury down in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and turned the weather chilly.

Islamabad and Rawalpindi observed delightful raining all over the cities here on Saturday.

According to details, Snowfall over high mountains in northern areas of Pakistan including Babusar and Nanga Parbat covered the region. However, Babusar and Naran highway have been suspended due to weather conditions.

Rain wind/thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (districts of Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Chitral, Malakand, Shangla, Swabi, Swat and Dir), northern Punjab(districts of Murree, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Sialkot, Attock and Chakwal.), Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Hail storm is also expected at a few places during the forecast period . Snowfall over high mountains is also expected in Malakand division and Gilgit Baltistan.\r\nDay and night temperatures are likely to fall ( 2 to 4 degree) from Saturday in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, upper and central Balochistan, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
