There are no chances of further rainfall in the metropolis, whereas, the temperature remains 28 degrees in Karachi.

According to details, a western monsoon weather system present in Karachi has now quit with no chances of rainfall in the city, Pakistan Meteorological Department said in its forecast.

The city is experiencing partly cloudy atmosphere, however, the temperature drops at night time.

Minimum temperatures will remain between 23 – 25 ºCelsius and maximum temperature upto 35 ºCelsius.

Presently northeasterly winds blowing in the metropolis with a speed of 18 kilometers per hour.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted in its report that under the influence of a westerly wave Karachi to receive light to moderate showers last weekend.

Last week, the meteorological department forecast the possibility of another western wind system being entered into the country.

According to the met office a westerly wave affected upper and central parts of the country, which was likely to interact with monsoon currents and gripped most parts of the country.
