Cold wave will remain continue in the city of Quaid at least for the next three days when the temperature could touch the 10 degrees Celsius mark, Meteorological department predicted.
According to the details, Met department’s senior official Sardar Sarfaraz said that the cold and dry weather was likely to persist for the rest of the week with the temperature between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius and humidity and the amount of moisture in the atmosphere to stay between 40 and 50 per cent.
The official stated “The current week is colder than the past few ones of this month and this trend is likely to stay in place next week.”
He said the temperature in the city was likely to remain between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius for the next few days.
Mostly dry weather was expected across Sindh with chances of thick fog in Sukkur, Jacobabad and upper Sindh areas, he added.
Met department has issued an advisory and said that upper Sindh would remain in the grip of dense to moderate fog during morning and night while temperature in those areas could drop to two to four degrees Celsius. Most parts of Sindh, including Karachi, were likely to remain under influence of westerly winds.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways (PR) trains’ schedule badly disrupted for the last many days due to fog, leaving a number of passengers waiting for hours at Lahore and other major stations across the country.
