Rainfall alert has been issued in most parts of the country from Wednesday to Saturday.
Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued alert for the new spell of rainfall.
PMD also predicts that the rain spell can influence Pakistan Super League matches scheduled this week.
It is predicted that western winds will enter Pakistan on Wednesday (tomorrow).
Water can be accumulated due to rainfall in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Heavy rainfall can occur in areas including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Sargodha. In addition to this, Gujrat, Narowal, and Hafizabad will also receive heavy rain.
Furthermore, rainfall is expected in Mianwali, Khushab, Bhakkar, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh.
Apart from that, Der, Swat, Shangla, Mansehra and Abbottabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsada, Swabi, and Kohat will receive heavy rain.
Moreover, PMD forecasts rainfall in Quetta, Zhob, Multan, Ziarat, Sahiwal, Okara, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, and Sukkur.
On the other hand, dry winds will be blowing all over the Sindh including Karachi. PMD directs people to adopt preventive measures for dry weather.
Weather remained dry in most parts of the country, according to yesterday’s update. However, winter season persists in the upper parts of Pakistan due to rainfall and snowfall.
According to yesterday’s weather update by Pakistan Meteorological Department, rainfall recorded in different areas in the last 24 hours (in mm) were Chirat (36), Takht Bhai (10), Malam Jabba (9), Peshawar (2), Rawalpindi (26(, Islamabad (2-16), Murree (4), Hafizabad (2), Rawalcot (25), Gilgit Baltistan (3).
Minimum temperatures recorded yesterday (in Degrees Celsius) are Kalam (-3), Skardu, Gopes, Malam Jabba, and Kalat (-1).
Weathr remains sunny in Karachi, temperature recorded was 24 Degrees Celsius today.
