A shallow westerly wave expected to enter in Pakistan today

Karachi receives hot weather, northern areas receive rain today

A continential air is prevailing over the most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is likely to enter on Wednesday evening.

According to the met department, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in northeast Balochistan, Kashmir and adjoining areas.

the maximum temperature recorded today in Karachi was 34% whereas umidity in the air was 81%.

rain-wind thunderstorm is expected in Quetta, Kalat, Barkhan, Zhob, Dalbandin, Nokkundi,  D.G Khan, Sukkur, Jaccobabad, Abbottabad, Dir, Kalam, Kurram, and Gilgit Baltistan.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country in the last 24 hours as per PMD’s press release. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in central/south Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
