Met Department Predicts Light Rain, Drizzle In Karachi

There is a possibility of thundershowers and rain in most parts of the country today.

According to the Meteorological Department, thundershowers and strong winds are expected in Azad Kashmir, North-East Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some parts of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The weather will remain hot in the federal capital Islamabad, however, strong winds and thundershowers are expected in the evening, while rain is expected at a few places in Pothohar, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore and Gujranwala.

Rain with strong winds and thundershowers is also expected in Barkhan and surrounding areas of Balochistan while most of the southern districts of Sindh will remain cloudy. However, light rain and drizzle is expected in Karachi.

According to the meteorological department, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Dir, Malakand and Kurram agencies are likely to receive showers with strong winds and thundershowers while Azad Kashmir is likely to receive showers with strong winds and thundershowers at some places.

The Meteorological Department said that the weather will remain hot and humid in most parts of the country.
