ISLAMABAD: The weather across the country has turned chilly as most parts of the country have been experiencing rain and snow contributing to the drop in mercury.

The meteorological department shared that the metropolitan city has been in the grip of fog and the temperature is expected to drop further tonight.

The report of the Meteorological Department has said that dusty winds are continuing in Karachi, which has increased air pollution. The minimum temperature of Karachi has been recorded at 16 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Islamabad, Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Upper Punjab.

The Department of Meteorology has said that the intensity of cold has increased in Quetta and the rain since last night is continuing till now. Moreover, heavy snowfall continues in Murree.

Most parts of the country are in the grip of dense fog including the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and Mohenjo Daro.
