KARACHI: Weather turned pleasant for Karachiites this morning as rain lashes parts of the city along with strong winds.
The meteorological department has intimated that the falls may continue till night and there is a chance of a hailstorm hitting the metropolitan city with the showers.
Areas experiencing rainfall include North Nazimabad, II Chundrigar Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Orangi Town, Federal B Area, Water Pump, Aisha Manzil, Landhi, Korangi, Malir and Lyari.
As per the weather department, rain clouds have been hovering over the Arabian Sea under the influence of which heavy showers will hit Sindh’s coastal belt today.
Falls are likely to occur in Thatta, Badin and Hyderabad as well and the system is to stay in the province for the next two days.
Pertinently, the metropolis experienced rainfall in various parts a few days back as well and the weather has been pleasant since then for the residents.
Days before Ramadan, the met department predicted that the weather will not be intense and the heat will remain reduced in the first 10 days of the holy month.
