Alligator assault near Myrtle Beach results in one fatality. On Friday near Myrtle Beach, an eleven-foot alligator killed an unidentified victim; by seizing them and dragging them into a pond.

The sad occurrence took place in a gated golf club; where there had been numerous reports of huge alligator sightings.
The community pond in South Carolina; had initially received a call from the fire department, reporting a water incident. When authorities got to the scene at at 11:45am, they found the victim.

The alligator was killed on the spot; according to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources; and its contracted alligator removal agency.

There are numerous 12 to 14-foot alligators in the retention pond; according to neighbour Jason Repak who spoke to MyHorryNews.
Between the pond where the event happened and another retention pond; behind his condo at the Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Club; according to Repak, is a two-lane road.

Repak posted a picture of three sizable alligators outside of a pond in May; that pond was the one behind the house.
