A five-year-old girl struggles on the roof of a house in Delhi under the hot sun with her wrists and legs tied. The video goes popular on social media. The mother of the youngster reprimanded her for not finishing her school assignments, according to an early investigation by Delhi Police.

Initially, authorities received information that the video was taken in the Karawal Nagar neighborhood, but they found no evidence of the occurrence there. The footage was later discovered to be from the Khajuri Khas neighborhood of Tukmirpur, and the house was located.

The child is tied to a rope on a house’s roof, attempting to free herself in the heat. The youngster is wailing in agony as her skin appears to be burning from the extreme heat.

The child’s mother informed the police that she disciplined her daughter for not finishing her homework for five to seven minutes before bringing her down.

Police takes immediate action

Delhi police announced that proper action was taken after the video went popular on social media. The cops were able to track down the address and the family after putting in a lot of work.

Delhi Police on its Twitter wrote, “After a video of a girl child tied up on the roof of a house surfaced on social media, all possible efforts were made by Delhi Police to ascertain her identity and circumstances. The family of the child has been identified and appropriate action initiated.”
