A12-year-old child dies of invasive strep A in London
A 12-year-old London schoolboy has died from a severe case of strep....
An attack by a dog has left a woman of 83 years old with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.
On Saturday soon after 15:00 GMT, the emergency services, including weapons officers, were dispatched to a residence in the Heol Fawr neighbourhood of the Caerphilly county.
Both the woman and the male, who was 55 years old, were transported to the University Hospital of Wales located in Cardiff.
The dog that was suspected of being dangerously out of control and inflicting injuries has been euthanized, and three people have been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of the dog.
Caerphilly residents two men aged 20 and 31 and a woman aged 28 have been freed on bail, according to the Gwent Police. All three were arrested in the Caerphilly area.
Matthew Sedgebeer, a Detection and Criminal Investigations Sergeant, stated that the force would keep a visible presence in the area.
In addition, he stated that “Officers will remain at the scene while the investigation continues in order to make further inquiries at this time.”
The assault on the Penyrheol estate took place just a little over a year after another occurrence, namely the horrible and tragic assault on 10-year-old Jack Lis, which took place just a few streets away from the Penyrheol estate.
Penyrheol councillor Steve Skivens expressed his astonishment when he learned the rumours that were going around regarding the incident.
