Police claim they are watching hours of film and looking at the hands of the four children who were killed in Idaho last month as resentment over the absence of an arrest increases in the community.

Early on Sunday, November 13, it was discovered that Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, and Madison Mogen had all been fatally stabbed in the rental property they shared.

They were all enrolled at the University of Idaho, which is located in the northern Idaho town of Moscow.

Numerous tips have been given to the police.

Local police are working with the FBI to sort through them.

In a video statement on Monday, Roger Lanier of the Moscow Police claimed that a “army of experts” were reviewing videos from all throughout the city that locals and business owners had posted.

It does take a lot of time because, as you can guess, there is hours and hours and hours of video, he added.

A white Hyundai Elantra that was spotted close to the house the day of the murders is still being sought after by police.

On Monday, Fox News claimed that authorities had bagged the victims’ hands at the scene of the crime in an effort to preserve any skin, hair, or DNA that might contain a clue.

Thousands of amateur web sleuths have taken an interest in the case, and dozens of Facebook groups and Reddit threads have been created in its honour. However, Capt. Lanier advised against sending online rumours to the official tip line.

He stated in the video statement that tracking down and dispelling rumours about specific people or specific incidents that may or may not have occurred is a major distraction for investigators and frequently comes as a result of social media proliferation.

Some victims’ families have voiced concern of the investigation’s poor progress and the lack of any recognised suspects or arrested suspects.

Police are “still completely committed to solving this crime,” according to Capt. Lanier.

The victims had “huge gaping gouges,” according to Kaylee Goncalves’ father, who claimed that they were unmistakably the work of a “sadistic male.”

Steven Goncalves claimed to have questioned the coroner over the victims’ stabbing frequency.

He said on Fox News on Sunday, “She adds, sir, I don’t believe stabs is the appropriate term, it was like tears, like this was a strong weapon, not like a stab.

The fixed-blade knife they say was used in the attack has not yet been located, and police have not yet identified the suspect’s gender.
