The father of a lady who perished in a helicopter accident on Australia’s Gold Coast has asked for prayers for their critically injured kid.

“I beg you all to say a prayer for the little man. He is in serious condition and on life support “stated Simon Tadros.

He was present when two Sea World sightseeing helicopters collided on Monday, killing his wife Vanessa, 36, and three other people.

Nicholas, their 10-year-old son, and two other people are all hospitalised.

On Facebook, Mr. Tadros wrote, “May God pull him back with me and make a good recovery.”

A friend of Ms. Tadros’s, Rochelle Fajloun, began an online crowdsourcing campaign that referred to Ms. Tadros as a “much-loved and well respected mother.”

On the page, Ms. Fajloun said, “We are asking for a miracle that our Nicky… can be restored back to his grief-stricken father Simon.

The total amount raised thus far is about AU$15,000 ($10,200; £8,500).

Mr. Tadros claimed that his “lovely wife and mother to my boy” had perished in the collision in a separate post on Ms. Tadros’ professional page.

The state in the two cockpits at the time is a key factor in the investigation of what caused the collision.

The ascending aircraft, which collided with another helicopter that was landing less than 20 seconds after taking off from a sandbar, killed everyone and seriously injured everyone who was in it.

Minor injuries were sustained by five out of the six passengers on the helicopter as it descended.
