Following a collision in west London that resulted in the death of a 40-year-old pedestrian, a bus driver has been detained.
After being hit on Saturday night in Hounslow, the man was brought to the hospital with critical injuries, but he eventually passed away.
At the intersection of Armytage Road and Cranford Lane, a collision took place.
A 59-year-old bus driver was detained on suspicion of killing someone while driving recklessly and failing to stop at the scene.
Bail was used to release him.
Police have informed the deceased man’s relatives, who they said were receiving help from highly trained personnel, and they are aware of his name.
Police have asking any witnesses to the collision, which happened at around 19:19 GMT, to come forwards.
