Finland shuts its border to Russian Visitors
Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said mobilisation order had a "significant effect"...
Finland has declared that they will provide Ukraine a new donation of defense equipment worth more than 400 million euros ($434 million).
This excludes the Leopard 2 tanks, which the nation claims it could deliver if allies approved.
According to the Defense Ministry, this payment would more than triple Finland‘s defense assistance to Ukraine, which currently stands at 590 million euros.
“This package does not include Leopard tanks. It consists of heavy weaponry and ammunition,” said Miika Pynnonen, special adviser to Finland’s defense minister.
According to the ministry, the defense ministers of Finland and Sweden will affix their signatures to a Statement of Intent (SoI) supporting Ukraine on Friday in Ramstein.
