White House Confirms Lack of Visitor Logs for Biden’s Home
US President Joe Biden told reporters earlier that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) didn’t yet know what caused the problem but that he would be informed of any new information as it became available.
“They expect [that] in a couple of hours they’ll have a good sense of what caused it and we’ll respond at that time.”
Following the outage that grounded millions of flights in the US today, the FAA reports that air traffic operations are starting to resume.
It also states that the ground stop, which put a halt to all US flights departing, has been lifted and that the investigation into the malfunction will continue.
An air traffic control measure known as a ground stop slows or grounds aircraft at a certain airport.
