MAKKAH: The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a campaign to provide scientific, guidance, and service programs to Hajj pilgrims.
The project has been launched under the patronage of the President of the General Presidency of the two holy sites His Excellency Sheikh Dr Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.
The “Guests of the Presidency” campaign for this year’s Hajj to the holy sites is launched to participate in serving pilgrims by providing a package of scientific, guidance, and service programs, enriching the religious, cultural, and social experience of the pilgrims.
The General President Dr Al-Sudais said that the message of Hajj is a universal humanitarian message that reflects the generosity of the true religion, its legitimate purposes, and its ease and simplicity, justice and equality, moderation and balance in all its rituals and locations.
He affirmed that the Saudi leadership has mobilized all capabilities to create a humble and spiritual environment in the Holy Mosques and enable the visitors to perform the Hajj rituals with ease and simplicity.
The General President continued, saying, “We praise and thank Almighty Allah for what He has bestowed upon this blessed country and its wise leadership in the honour of serving His ancient house and the mosque of His chosen Prophet (peace be upon him) and working for the comfort of its visitors and overcoming all obstacles for the guests of the Most Merciful, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, worshippers, and visitors, and harnessing all services so that they can perform their rituals with ease, security, tranquility, according to an integrated system of services provided by the wise leadership supported by God.”
He added that utmost attention has been given to qualitative leaps witnessed in the services provided in the Holy Mosques, through latest technologies, introduction of artificial intelligence mechanisms, and the use of smart robots and electronic applications.
He said the technologies have enriched the experience of the visitors and enabled them to perform their rituals in the Holy Mosques with ease and simplicity.
