Latest Emirates ID Fee Update for Bangladeshis in UAE 2024
In Dubai, the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) is responsible for issuing Emirates ID cards to both UAE citizens and expatriates, including Bangladeshis residing in the UAE.
The Emirates ID card is mandatory for all UAE citizens and residents, as it is required to access government and other essential services.
UAE and GCC nationals, as well as expatriates including Bangladeshis, have the option to apply for a new Emirates ID card through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) or an accredited typing center.
Applicants may be required to visit an ICP service center to provide their biometric details.
A valid residence permit is required to obtain an Emirates ID card. This includes having a valid residence permit, renewing a residence origin, or obtaining a residence permit for those who didn’t receive an identity card during the initial issuance of the residence permit.
AED 100 (depending on the period of years): Card issuance fee for five years.
AED150 dirhams: Service fee
AED 30 dirhams: Typing Center fee
150 dirhams: fees for urgent service, which are carried out at customer happiness centers
