KARACHI: The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs. 1,100 to Rs274,400 per tola in the local market on Thursday (Oct 3).
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs943, bringing it down to Rs235,254.
This reduction in gold prices has been recorded in major cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar.
In the international market, gold also experienced a drop, with its price falling by $11, now priced at $2,642 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver remained stable at Rs3,050 per tola.
