KARACHI: Gold rate in Pakistan rose by Rs1000 to Rs256,500 per tola in the local market on Friday (Aug 9).
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat also increased by Rs.857 to Rs.219,907 from Rs.219,050, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at Rs.2,850 and Rs.2,443.41 respectively.
Prices of gold in the international market increased by $37 to $2,430 from $2,393, the Association reported.
