New Ramadan Railway Ticket Office Timings Announced

• Pakistan Railways adjusts ticket booking offices during Ramadan.
• Citizens can book tickets during the afternoon shift from Monday to Friday.
• The State Bank of Pakistan also adjusts its office hours during Ramadan.

During Ramadan, Pakistan Railways has adjusted the operational hours of ticket booking offices.

According to a Pakistan Railways spokesperson, ticket booking offices will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday through Thursday during the initial 15 days of the Islamic month.

The spokesperson also mentioned that citizens can book tickets during the afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. However, there will be a break for Friday prayers from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Additionally, starting on the 15th of Ramadan, the reservation office will stay open until 9 p.m., with a break for Iftar.

Previously, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had also introduced adjusted timings for the month of Ramadan.

During Ramadan, the SBP will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, with a prayer break from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. On Fridays, office hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. without a break.
