Harry Potter books have been banned in a school in United States of America as kids might be tempted to conjure “evil spirits.

According to an International News Agency, a Catholic School in USA banned Harry Potter books claiming it contains “actual curses and spells.”

“The curses and spells used in the books are actual curses and spells; which when read by a human being risk conjuring evil spirits into the presence of the person reading the text.”, school wrote in letter.

Rev. Dan Reehil, the pastor of the school serving kindergarten through eighth grade, removed the books from circulation because of “recommendations of exorcists in United States and Rome,”

A similar story was reported last year in Poland when Catholic priests in northern Poland burned books they considered to be sacrilegious, including ones from the Harry Potter boy wizard series.
