Reel life plagued soldier John Rambo said that he hated Swedish actor, filmmaker, and martial artist Hans Lundgren better known as Dolph Lundgren when he first met him.

While giving a TV interview on “The Tonight Show” Sylvester Stallone an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer better known for his role as a plagued soldier John Rambo in the five Rambo films, said “He was like the real Terminator, and I go, ‘I hate this friggin’ guy.”

“He’s just too perfect, too good-looking. And if I loathe him, I’m sure the world will,” Stallone added.

The 73-year-old Rambo star explains his initial reaction to meeting the Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren with these words “He’s not really, but he looks like something that’s a thousand years in the future. This is not a guy you see waiting on your table.”

Stallone further said when he was looking for a Rocky IV villain, he knew he wanted a “big, horrible, vicious guy.” However, his initial search—considering wrestlers, football players, and the like—didn’t produce any viable candidates.

Although Sylvester Stallone didn’t show an instant likeness to his Rocky IV costar, both the actors ended up having a long working relationship that continues over 30 years later.

Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren first faced off in the audition for the role of Ivan Drago in 1985’s “Rocky IV.”

Both actors reunited as Rocky and Drago in Creed II.

Sylvester Stallone said he’s hoping to work with Dolph Lundgren for yet another “Expendables” sequel and they both are working for United Nations-inspired TV series The International. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
