Warner Bros. is postponing Diana Prince’s return to the big screen due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sources said that Wonder Woman 1984 will now hit cinemas on August 14 instead of June 5.

According to the details, Warner Brothers studio announced that it is pushing the release of “Wonder Woman 1984,” which was supposed to hit theaters June 5, back one month amid growing concerns over theater closures.

Sources said, The delays were inevitable as multiplexes across the country remain closed to help halt the spread of the novel virus. Warner Bros. was always committed to debuting its “Wonder Woman” sequel in cinemas, and the studio felt it was realistic for theaters to be up and running again by August.

“In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again,” Gadot wrote. “Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all.”
