According to ‘Top Gun’ co-star Danny Ramirez, Tom Cruise is a’mentor’ who has a ‘audience in mind.’

• Danny Ramirez hailed Tom Cruise as a mentor to fellow performers and crew members after working with him on Top Gun: Maverick.
• In an interview with Fox News, Danny revealed the key to why every Tom Cruise film is so popular with audiences “This, I believe, is why his films are so well received… He is thinking about the audience.”
• Ramirez continued: “It is a duty for which individuals are volunteering two hours of their time. And every year, he makes a film that millions of people see.”

“And so the responsibility of the huge number of hours that people are giving to be going on this journey, he handed it along and then has been a mentor ever since.”

The Silo actor then said that he had a fanboy moment while working with the Mission Impossible actor.

Ramirez also discussed his experiences working with Cruise to prepare for his role in Top Gun, stating, “It has been one of the most incredible experiences.” When compared to academics, he said, “It seems like we went to earn our master’s degrees and our doctorates.””

“Whenever I have a project that I’m working, he offers me notes and like he reacts faster than Jay [Ellis] or Glen [Powell] do,” he continued.”
