Actor Sonu Sood has commented about his freshly released film, ‘Samrat Prithviraj.’ In which he has been helping people with since the Covid-19 began. He was also seen in the film in the role of Chand Bardai. Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar play prominent roles in the same.

Despite having a strong cast, the picture has failed to entice moviegoers to the theatres. Moreover, it has been casted aside as a mediocre box office performance.

Sonu expressed his thoughts on why the film didn’t perform as well as predicted at the box office in a recent interview. He went on to describe the movie as “really special.” He also stated that he was given the opportunity to play a fantastic character, and that he was showered with love.

In an interview, the actor also expressed gratitude to the audience for their outpouring of love for the entire crew. In terms of the box office, he stated that the picture may not have performed as well as expected. But that things have changed since the pandemic. He ended by expressing that he is quite happy with how people have responded to the film. Moreover, the manner in which they have expressed their admiration for it.

In the meantime, Sonu tried his hand at hosting in addition to filming. In South Africa, he recently hosted the premiere of the new season of ‘Roadies.’ He described the trip as a “terrific journey” full of pleasure and adventure. He will be seen in the films ‘Kisaan’ and ‘Fateh’.
