“I was divorced when my kids were three years old,” the actor-singer stated in the film, “and I was a single parent with two small children.”

Lopez, who is now engaged to Ben Affleck, went on to say, “At 42, movie jobs were not banging on my door, and when I returned to work, I didn’t know where my worth lay.”

The On The Floor singer resumed her romance with Affleck last year after they called it quits in January 2004.
