Vanessa Hudgens weighs in on the dispute between 'Euphoria' and 'High School Musical.'

 

Hudgens rose to prominence as Gabriella Montez in Disney Channel’s High School Musical from 2006 to 2008.

The Princess Switch actress also stated that she does not want to “resurrect her character in a fourth High Musical picture.”

Previously, in November 2021, the actress told Entertainment Tonight, “It was such a lovely period of time that so many people do hold so personal and near and dear to their hearts, that I don’t know if I’d return.”

“It’s dangerous to meddle with something like that because it’s so cherished.” Someone has to write a script and distribute it to all of us, and if we enjoy it, who knows?”

Meanwhile, Euphoria made news earlier this year after America’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education warned in a statement that the play was “misguidedly promoting and erroneously presenting high-school student drug usage.”
