Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew’s younger daughter with ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, stood out in a bright orange gown for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last week.

But the royal’s appearance wasn’t the only thing that caught people’s attention; she also displayed a little fresh circular tattoo behind her ear.

Eugenie, 23, sported a half-up hairdo, black fascinator, and tangerine Emilia Wickstead dress when attending the Queen’s National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday.

While royals rarely have tattoos, Eugenie isn’t the only one: Amelia Windsor, the granddaughter of the Queen’s cousin the Duke of Kent, has many designs. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, and Princess Sofia of Sweden are among the other tatted royals from throughout the world.

While serving in the Navy in Japan, the Queen’s grandfather, Prince George of Wales — who later became King George V — was tattooed.

Surprisingly, Prince William pondered mimicking buddy David Beckham’s huge back tattoo at one point, but Kate Middleton is claimed to have put a halt to that plan.

Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, attended Sunday’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant with their 1-year-old son August, marking the tot’s first official public appearance.

August, who looks to have inherited his grandmother’s red hair, donned a Union Jack flag-themed jumper for the occasion.
