Singapore will shut down the casinos for one month amid coronavirus pandemic.

According to the details, the resorts, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, will shut down their services this week after the Singaporean government announced strict measures to fight coronavirus.

Marina Bay Sands announced it on official twitter account.

Resorts World Sentosa shared the message on their Instagram.

Earlier, The ban on alcohol during lockdown decreased the crime rate in South Africa.

According to the details, The rape cases dropped to 94 from 326, cases of assault with intention to inflict grievous bodily harm, dropped from 2 673 to 456 and trio crimes dropped from 8 853 to 2 098.

SA Police service said in a tweet, “Police Minister, Gen Bheki Cele, welcomed the general decrease in serious & violent crimes, attributing this amongst other factors, the prohibition of the sale & movement of liquor since the #COVID19 nationwide lockdown.”
